Some extra pics from older photoshoots for Whitemantis.
I just had to remove the male from her back, they disconnected about an hour ago and she was actually throwing her wings up to get him off. Likely I could’ve let him stay on there, but she seemed done with him.
Color-wise, she’s very white except her wings. In some of my pictures those look white too due to the light, but they’re rather yellowish. I personally love the markings on her back, where her wings come together. Very veiny and dark.
I haven’t gotten her mad enough yet to go in a defensive stance at me. I could try. I personally don’t really like pissing my mantids off, but flower mantids tend to be agressive quick so it may not be so difficult with her.
But yeah, you’re welcome to ask questions about her or ask me to take pictures of specific parts of her! The interest is nice :)
